Custom Portraits

I can provide high quality portraits completed in oils on stretched linen canvas. The process usually starts with a friendly chat to discuss your individual requirements followed by a more in-depth conversation/meeting at either your home if local or my studio that is in Chesterfield,Derbyshire. I can then arrange a photo shoot at your desired location if suitable. I recently did a photo shoot at our local castle for example, a portrait I have completed for my upcoming exhibition,Women United. The exhibition will take place at West Studios Chesterfield in April 2023 where you are welcome to come and view my collection of portraits of women from all around the world in traditional dress. Here you can see a variety of sizes I can work to, ranging from minature right up to my larger scale portraits that can be up to a meter high.
I require at least six weeks to complete your portrait of which I will send regular update progress photos for your approval.
Your painting will be varnished and ready for collection once dry and varnished which will take a couple of months.
